Ten Reasons We Are the Last Generation

The Messiah clearly says, I am coming quickly! Then, the same Lord says, "Wait on the Lord". When I served in the military, we had an expression that seemed to describe these two responses to the Lord, Hurry up and wait!
Are we wrong to constantly anticipate the Lord's return? Is it unwise for us to always be in a perpetual "state" of readiness for the Lord's end time events? Yes, it is silly not to get on with your life and always be hanging on to every little prophetic event as though the Lord were about to return. Unless... you are the last generation spoken of by the prophets to see all these things take place.
The more powerful question to ask is simply, Are we that last generation that will see all those things happen? Is there a sound and reasonable basis for us to be anticipating the Lord's return in our days? Are we the last generation or just another generation leading up to the end? In a word Yes! Then, what distinguishes us from past generations or possible future generations? How can we be the last generation spoken of in the Scriptures?
The Lord has a great plan for the last generation. His plan has many elements to it. Instead of playing the hurry up and wait game, we need to understand God's plan for the last generation and look for those key elements in our generation. We need to transition from hope to experience. We need good and solid reasons to believe and warn others with.
I believe we are the last generation, different than all past generations, that God spoke of when He said that generation would not pass away until all things were accomplished. I offer the following ten reasons to base that conclusion on. They are in two groups right now: the first five are historical fact, the last five are presently before us.

  1. Israel became a nation in 1948.
  2. Jerusalem was captured by Israel in 1967.
  3. We are in the midst of the seven year Peace and Security Agreement.
  4. The European Union was formed in 1993.
  5. We are on the edge of the seventh millennium.
  6. Our generation is the largest, smartest, and most traveled in history.
  7. Israel is on the brink of a world changing conflict.
  8. The temple mount in Jerusalem is the center of attention for the world.
  9. A European Prince whose name numbers 666 is implementing his agenda.
  10. There are two types of saints today: tribulation and apostate.
Lets review and examine each one and see if you conclude as I have that we are the last generation.

Israel became a nation in 1948.

This is a historical fact. But, why would this convince us that we are the last generation? All end time prophecy is centered around the nation of Israel. Since the nation of Israel did not exist except as dispersed throughout the nations, then the return of the Lord could not have happened as described by the Bible. The last generation will see the final restoration of Jacob begin the return to the land.
Isaiah spoke of a day when the nation would be born in one day. Historically, nations have formed over a period of many years. Most have taken a full generation or a protracted war. This generation saw something extraordinary in 1948. A nation came forth in one day. It was Israel and it came forth just as the prophet said.
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she gave birth to a boy. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons. ISA 66:7-8
The last expression is about the last generation, As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her sons.@ It is while Israel exists and tribulation (travail) occurs that the ASons of the Living God are transformed into the Kingdom saints. This prophecy is really about the last generation, but it is connected to the birth of the nation of Israel. If this is the first evidence of the restoration of Jacob in our generation, then we know all things (the end time scenario) must come quickly in one generation just as the Lord said.
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. MAT 24:34
This is a simple concept to understand, but this verse has befuddled many prophecy students. Some have tried to define the length of the last generation. Looking back in Scripture, prophecy students have tried to define a generation as 40 years, 50 years or 70 years. They agree that the last generation must begin with Israel's birth in 1948, but they chase rabbit trails to define our length. The prophecy is not numerically specific; it is specific to you and me. It simply says that the last generation will not pass away before ALL things take place. This begins with the birth of Israel in one day and concludes with the Day of the Lord. This is why pretrib teachers formerly projected 1988 as a rapture date. (It was 40 years after the birth of Israel.) They looked at 1998. (It was 50 years after.) I agree that Israel's birth is significant, but let the Lord accomplish the other things He has planned. We are still here. We have not passed away yet.
These misunderstandings have been particularly disappointing to many believers today. Many brethren expect things to happen on their timetable. God seems to be saying, Hurry up. I'm coming quickly! We scurry about for awhile and then we find ourselves waiting again. We are like frightened birds of a flock taking flight together only to land again waiting. Listen to words of the Messiah. Faith comes by hearing and believing His promises. Israel exists today; the last time that happened was when a generation saw the Messiah the first time.

Jerusalem was captured by Israel in 1967.

The prophecy of the end times clearly defines all nations as coming against Jerusalem. When Jerusalem was captured by the Israelis in 1967, a major prerequisite for the end time scenario was met. It is the issue of Jerusalem and who controls it that has dominated world history. World empires have tried to control it only to fall into history's scrap heap. But it is when Jerusalem is in Jewish hands, does the world come against her.
The issue of Jerusalem also compels Israel and the Jewish people. David Ben Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel, spoke for all Israel when he said, Without Jerusalem, there is no Israel. He spoke in our day of a truth that has existed for many generations. Each Passover in the dispersed nations the final words of each years Passover is ANext year in Jerusalem!@ The Psalmist said it this way.
If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget her skill. PSA 137:5
But how does this tie into the last generation and why is Jerusalem in the hands of Israel significant for us as the last generation. Listen to the words of Isaiah as he speaks of Jerusalem in this modern time.
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. ISA 62:6-7
The last generation saints are called watchmen. They are watching for the Lord's return. This prophecy says that the posted watchmen (the last generation) will not give the Lord nor themselves rest until the issue of Jerusalem reaches a final conclusion. A final conclusion for Jerusalem, being made a praise in the earth, is when the Messiah has returned and makes it His resting place. Therefore, we can conclude that the generation that sees the issue of Jerusalem come to the world's forefront (when all nations come against) are the appointed watchmen. They will not cease to be until the issue is resolved. This is a clear description of the last generation; the generation that sees Jerusalem made a praise in all the earth.

We are in the midst of the seven year Peace and Security

Agreement.

From September of 1993 until September of 2000, the world witnessed Israel and the Palestinians enact a series of agreements officially called the Peace and Security Agreement. It began with the famous hand shake between Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat. Bill Clinton was in the middle (in more ways than one). An interim agreement followed in September 1995 resulting in Yitzhak Rabin's assassination in November of 1995. The peace process was rejuvenated and an agreement was made with Rabin's grave, thus confirming the process. From Oslo II, an agreement on Hebron followed, then the Wye River Accord; a stalemate ensued. Ehud Barak, a decorated general, became the Prime Minister. In September of 1999, he and Arafat initiated the Jerusalem negotiations and set the deadline for September of 2000. The summer of 2000 saw Bill Clinton, Ehud Barak, and Yasser Arafat lay it on the line at camp David. On the very brink of the agreement, disaster and collapse set in.
The negotiations collapsed over the issue of Jerusalem and the temple mount. Bill Clinton could not understand the dilemma. He had proposed that Israel and the Palestinians would share the mount (each have a part), but Arafat balked. Arafat wanted all of Jerusalem and wanted the Jews to have nothing. In the months that have followed, various negotiators on both sides have said the same thing. The seven year agreement is annulled, it is cancelled, it is void. When asked by reporters what would happen next, the chief Palestinian negotiator answered, Whatever happens from now on will be in the midst of the seven year agreement.
The prophet Isaiah spoke of an agreement (Isa 28:14-22) that would dramatically affect Israel before the final judgment of all the earth. Isaiah described the role of the Jerusalem leaders, the shortcomings of the agreement, the motivation for the agreement, and the cancellation of the agreement by God's hand. Isaiah also called the agreement the ACovenant with death@ and the APact with Sheol (grave). These are exact descriptions given by world leaders for the seven year agreement. Isaiah also said that the agreement would be cancelled, literally annulled. But one of the most striking prophetic descriptions of this event is from the Apostle Paul. He said it would result in war, suddenly.
Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, Peace and safety! [security] then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1TH 5:1-3
As I said, the official title of the agreement is the Peace and Security Agreement. This has been the theme throughout the entire seven year period including the Israeli election process between Peres and Netanyahu, between Netanyahu and Barak.
But how does this seven year agreement relate to the last generation? Both Isaiah and Paul said it. This agreement sets the stage for the final judgment. Paul said, Athen destruction will come upon them suddenly... Isaiah said, For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts, of decisive destruction on all the earth (Isa 28:22). These are the events of the last generation. We have witnessed the full and complete seven year agreement, its names and themes, and its cancellation right to the day. We will also see the sudden, decisive destruction (war in Israel) that it foretells.

The European Union was formed in 1993.

In September of 1993, fifteen European nations came together to form a common government. They formed a parliament as a legislative branch; a common judiciary system, and a special council of ministers as an executive branch to the new Union. As a result, these fifteen nations received favor from one another for economic trade and defense. It is modeled after the United States. In fact, some have called it the United States of Europe, they simply call it the a Union. It is also modeled after the ancient Holy Roman Empire. It is also called the revived Roman Empire.
The Union has established their own money, flag, and president. It is on this last point that something very prophetic has occurred. Each of the fifteen member nations sends one representative (ruler) to the Council of Ministers. On a rotating basis, each ruler gets to be the President of the Union for six months. Because of the new Euro Dollar, and its financial management, the Council will also control this money, just as our Federal Reserve does here in the United States. But there is a problem, not all of the fifteen nations have signed up for the Euro Dollar or have the financial capability to be entrusted with this control. Therefore, the future council is to be reduced from fifteen ministers to eleven, possibly ten. How quickly will the council be reduced? They are saying in the next couple of years, possibly 2002 or 2003.
The prophet Daniel received a very profound and disturbing vision concerning world empires. This vision had four beasts. It is the fourth great beast that speaks of the end when Messiah returns to the earth. This fourth great beast is said to have seven heads and ten horns (Dan 7:7-8, 19-20). We know that the fourth beast came in the form of the Roman Empire. From the elements of the Roman Empire, a certain man called the beast (antimessiah) will come to power. A revived Roman Empire is a clear marker for the last generation.
Thus he said: The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms, and it will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it. As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings. And he will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.@ DAN 7:23-25
The beast (antimessiah) will arise out of ten other rulers by subduing three of them. A time, times, and half a time is 3 years or 42 months. Revelation explains this kingdom of seven heads and ten horns.
And the angel said to me, Why do you wonder? I shall tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. REV 17:7
The seven heads are seven mountains that the kingdom sits on Rome is the city of seven hills (mountains). The seven heads are also seven past kings of the Holy Roman Empire. The European Union is headquartered in Rome. It is based on it past kings and city of Rome.
Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. And the beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. These have one purpose and they give their power and authority to the beast. REV 17:9-13
This description of the seven kings (5 were, 1 is, and 1 will be for a short time) is the perfect description of the seven ancient emperors of the Holy Roman Empire with the name Charles. [See World Book Encyclopedia description of Holy Roman Empire.]
The Union is the revived Holy Roman Empire with the seven ancient emperors. The Parliament for the Union is in Rome. The beast (antimessiah) is to rise in the midst of 10 rulers (3 are uprooted, 7 give their power to rule). But it is the power sharing structure of the European Council of Ministers that uniquely qualifies the prophecy. How much power do seven rulers in the European Council of Ministers have to give the antimessiah as he comes to power. Each has 6 months X 7 rulers = 42 months.
And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. And there was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies; and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. REV 13:1,5
So, how does all this relate to us and the last generation? The last generation sees the antimessiah come to power through the ten rulers and be given the power to rule for 42 months.

We are on the edge of the seventh millennium.

The Apostle Peter gave two very brief but important clues for the last generation to remember. These are clues as to the identity of the last generation.
Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts,... But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2PE 3:3,8
The latter clue speaks to the great seven day plan of God in the creation story. For every day of creation, there is a corresponding 1,000 period (day) in Biblical history. If you will recall, Adam was told that if he ate of the forbidden fruit, he would die in that day. Adam lived to age of 930, but he died in the first 1,000 year day. Each day of creation relates equally to significant items in history. The Sabbath, the seventh day is the Day of the Lord. Messiah said that He was the Lord of the Sabbath. He is to return to earth and Jerusalem and rule in His kingdom for 1,000 years (the last day).
Peter was warning us to watch for the last day, the beginning of the seventh day. He was warning us to watch for the Biblical year 6,000. So, what year is this according to the Biblical count? The Jewish count says that it is 5761. The Gregorian calendar says it is 2001. Jewish chronologists know there is a 240 year mistake in the present Jewish calendar; therefore, it is the Biblical year 6001. Christian chronologists believe the Messiah came in the Biblical year 4000. Adding that to 2001 equals 6001. I do not believe either calendar is that accurate, but I believe they are within a few years plus or minus. So, what does that mean to us as the last generation? This is Peter's clue that we are the generation that will see the Lord's return; therefore, ignore the mockers!

Our generation is the largest, smartest, and most

traveled in history.

The prophet Daniel's dialogue with the angels gives us a special clue about the time of the end and the last generation.
But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase. DAN 12:4
There are three clues concerning the last generation. First, there would many of them. Secondly, that generation would travel. Finally, that generation would experience increasing knowledge.
So, how does this relate to us and how does it show that we are the last generation? In October of 1999, the world passed the 6 Billion mark for the world population of people living. At that moment, we exceeded another number that no one ever imagined. We now have more people alive on the earth at this time than has ever lived on the earth leading up to this generation. At this moment in the history of earth, more than 50% of the people that have ever lived are alive at this time. Clearly, this generation (like no other) has many people in it.
This generation has seen travel increase and exceed anything ever dreamed of in the past generations. In 1969, we put men on the moon and brought them back. We have gone to the North and South Pole many times. We have climbed the highest mountain Mt. Everest. We travel internationally from nation to nation on a daily basis in a matter of hours. No other past generation can even approach us by comparison.
Finally, this generation has seen the volume of world knowledge double more than 7 times in our own time. The knowledge of the world didn"t double the first time until 1958. According to Encyclopedia Britannica, they can"t keep up with ever increasing knowledge. They claim that the knowledge of the world is doubling every 22 months. Sociologists are characterizing this generation alone as being the Knowledge Age. Only one generation has experienced these many changes due to increased knowledge; the Bible says that the last generation will be characterized by this phenomena.

Israel is on the brink of world changing conflict.

The Middle East Peace Accord is over. The Peace and Security agreement has failed. It is null and void. War is inevitable. While there have been many wars in the Middle East for this generation, the war being discussed in the aftermath of the seven year agreement is different. How is it different, you ask? This time, the Arab nations have armed ground troops (the Palestinians), in the land of Israel. The Arabs (Syria, Iran and Iraq to some degree) have intermediate range missiles to carry chemical weapons to Israel. The Palestinians could tie up the Israeli reserves preventing them from responding to a border attack. The missiles can not be stopped if they are launched. But Israel has one weapon that can stop both the enemy in the mountains of Israel and the surrounding nations. It is nuclear. The Bible calls it fire from the sky (Eze 38:22), that causes men to die leaving a small residue of bones. The end time prophecy describes a special kind of warfare where the enemies of Israel are destroyed in this manner. The only thing that remains is a special burial for the bones. This is also described in the prophecy. It is what we know to be as nuclear battlefield cleanup.
And it will come about on that day that I shall give Gog a burial ground there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block off the passers-by. So they will bury Gog there with all his multitude, and they will call it the valley of Hamon-gog. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. And they will set apart men who will constantly pass through the land, burying those who were passing through, even those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search. And as those who pass through the land pass through and anyone sees a man's bone, then he will set up a marker by it until the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog. EZE 39:11-12,14-15
So, how does this relate to us and the last generation? Gog and Magog are also present at the gathering to Armageddon the Day of the Lord. According to Middle East strategists, there will be a war in Israel during the year 2001 (in the midst of the seven year agreement, destruction will suddenly come). Standby on this one. It will be another event showing that we are the last generation. I hope to share with you soon what happens after that short battle. The Lord says something wonderful will happen to you and me.

The temple mount in Jerusalem is the center of attention

for the world.

In the summer of 2000, Barak, Arafat, and Clinton tried to hammer out the final agreement for Israel and the Palestinians. There was one negotiating point that could not be resolved B the temple mount. It is a small plaza in the old city of Jerusalem with the Dome of the rock and a mosque. It is the ancient site of the temple for Israel. The Jews want to have a piece of it to rebuild the temple. The Palestinians have stated that they will never allow a Jew to pray on the mount. In fact, this is the status quo. They claim it all belongs to them and there never was an ancient Jewish temple on it.
At the very moment that the negotiations failed, the Palestinian negotiator challenged Clinton with the history of the Jewish temple, claiming that there was no evidence of an ancient temple on the site; it was all Jewish propaganda. Clinton walked to his book shelf and pulled down a history book. He read a description of the Jewish temple. He then showed the book to the Palestinian. It was Roman history, describing a Roman province called APalestine.@ The negotiator immediately got up and left without saying another word.
Clinton's proposal to share the temple mount was virtually identical to a key prophecy in Revelation.
And there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, ARise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it. And leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.@ REV 11:1-2
There is a day coming when Israel will have a court of Israel (the inner court of the temple) with the Gentiles having the outer court. Whether it is by military victory or negotiated agreement, we do not know, but we do know that the inner court will also have an altar. This altar will be the focus of the world at the very start of the great tribulation. It will be shutdown and the service stopped.
For the first time since the Roman destruction of the temple in 70 A.D., world leaders are negotiating for Israel to have the inner court of the temple mount. This is consistent with the events and experiences of one generation B the last generation.

A European Prince whose name numbers 666 has

implemented his agenda.

One of the key clues in determining the identity of the antimessiah is the number 666. It has something to do with his name according to the prophecy.
Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six. REV 13:18
Look at another prophecy from the same passage that describes the appearance of the beast (antimessiah).
And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. REV 13:2
Most prophecy students and scholars look at these words as symbolic and figurative. They are unable to see the literal image of a particular man in the world. The image that John saw and described to us, has been with us for several hundred years. It is called the heraldic beast. It is the crest of England. It is the crest of English monarchs. It is exactly as the Scripture describes. It has the body of a leopard (France), the feet of a bear (Germany), and the mouth of a lion (England). It is the ancient symbol of the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire.
The dragon is the ancient symbol of Rome; it is the same symbol used for Wales. The day Charles was given the title as the Prince of Wales, he sat in a throne chair with this dragon and surrounded by the same banners.
One man in this world, the Prince of Wales, the heir apparent to the throne, has both the heraldic beast and the dragon as his symbols. His name is Prince Charles. Prince Charles of Wales, using the ancient Hebrew number system, calculates to 666. If you translate Prince Charles of Wales to Hebrew and then calculate using the same system, his name equals 666. Coincidence? Think again.
While many in the world consider Prince Charles to a Royal Wimp, he is a very influential man in this world. The prophecy emphasizes his influence over positional power.
And through his shrewdness He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence; DAN 8:25a
He has been working behind the scenes for years to move the world toward globalism. He had a lot to do with the World Bank and forming powerful UN NGO's (non-governmental organizations). According to some UN observers, Prince Charles is the most influential man in the world. Furthermore, Prince Charles wants to be the King of Europe (he applied for the job in 1992). Watch for him soon to make his move on the 10 member Council of Ministers and rise to power within them. This is his stated intention.
The prophecy says that the beast will uproot three rulers and the other seven will give their power to him to rule for 42 months. He will come to power in the prophetic theme of Union and Favor. Union and Favor describes the present European Union.
So I pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, hence the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Favor, and the other I called Union; so I pastured the flock Then I annihilated the three shepherds in one month, for my soul was impatient with them, and their soul also was weary of me. ZEC 11:7-8
How does this relate to us being the last generation? The last generation is to witness the antimessiah come to power and rule for 42 months. The man with the symbols, the name that equals the number 666, and the ambition to lead the revived Roman Empire is present in this generation. He is not going to fulfill his destiny in the next generation; he is here right now in our generation.

There are two types of saints today: tribulation saints

and apostate saints.

The Lord describes His return and expects our faithful anticipation of His return. However, not all of today's saints are faithfully anticipating. In fact, those who are spiritually preparing are clearly in the minority. The Messiah spoke directly of two types of end time saints.
Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. LUK 12:43
The faithful saint is obeying His Master. The same saint is described in Revelation this way....who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua. REV 12:17b
The Apostle John links the keeping of commandments and the testimony of Yeshua.
The one who says, AI have come to know Him,@ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 1JO 2:4
Tribulation saints not only keep His commandments and believe in Yeshua, they share their special generational distinction with the generation that left Egyptian slavery. That generation left Egypt en route to the promised land. They were transformed from a mob of slaves into a nation of free men. They failed, however, to enter the land with faith and obedience to God. Only two (Joshua and Caleb) could pass the test. The tribulation saints will learn from the past lessons and instead of only two making it into the land, there will be tribulation saints which no man can number!
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;... These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. REV 7:9,14
Why are they holding palm branches you might ask? This is the building material to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles the first celebration in the kingdom after the Lord returns (Zec 14:16).
But there is another type of saint supposedly waiting for the Lord's return apostate saints. The apostate saint has a testimony of Jesus but does not keep His commandments. He is not prepared to attend the Feast of Tabernacles or any other Biblical holiday. Sadly, you don't have to look far to find saints who say they know the Lord, but chastise and condemn others for obeying the Lord. In their zeal to avoid the Law, they are preparing to receive their messiah, the man of lawlessness. Paul says it this way.
Let no one in any way deceive you, for it [the coming of the Lord and our gathering to Him] will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness [antimessiah] is revealed, the son of destruction, 2TH 2:3
The last generation is to see these two prerequisites and then the coming of the Lord. There are two types of saints visible today: those preparing to be the tribulation saints who will not be deluded by the antimessiah and those preparing to be the apostate saints who will fall away from the faith during the tribulation.
And, no Virginia, there is no pretribulation rapture for some church saints. Believing in a pretribulation rapture is preparing to be an apostate, disappointed and unbelieving saint in the great tribulation.
Apostasy has two meanings: one from the Greek and one from the Hebrew. The Greek definition is based on falling or stumbling. Hebrew apostasy is referred to as the harlot's wages.

Conclusion

We are the last generation. Our generation has seen the symbolic prophecies of the past become a literal reality for us. The final elements are taking shape before us with each passing season and year. At the rate things are going, we can clearly say with the Messiah...
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. MAT 24:34
